Award Winning

Ken and Anne collecting another award

Both Toravaig and Duisdale House Hotels have been extremely honoured to pick up some coveted awards recently - on the 20th November at a glittering ceremony held at The Drumossie Hotel in Inverness Toravaig House Hotel picked up the coveted Highland Dining Out Experience and Sonas Hospitality picked up the Most Entrepreneurial Business Awards at The Highland Tourism Awards.  Well done everyone!

Other exciting news on awards front is that we have been shortlisted in the HRS Hotel Excellence Awards for our Marketing and Duisdale House Hotel is a finalist in the Scottish Hotel of the Year Award which will be held this year in the acclaimed Prestonfield Hotel in Edinburgh on 28th March 2010.  Watch this space!

Outdoor Hot Tub

Our new Hydro Pool is proving to be extremely popular with guests at this time of year.  Remember to bring your swimming kit along and you too can enjoy the warm waters whilst star gazing!  This exclusive experience adds yet another thrilling, luxurious dimension to a stay at Duisdale House Hotel!

Woodland & Shoreside Walks at Duisdale House Hotel

Lots of new woodland walks have been carved out of the ancient Duisdale Forest which forms part of the grounds of Duisdale House Hotel. There are 30 acres of forest and the walks meander their way around the gardens with little bridges to cross and seating areas, from which you can enjoy the view, listen to the birds and enjoy the wildlife - perhaps you may even spot a deer or two…
Alternatively you could take a walk to the shore, sit on the rocks and gaze out to sea in the hope of catching a glimpse of a seal or an otter at play.
